Day 01: ARRIVAL SRINAGAR – SRINAGAR LOCAL
Pick up from Srinagar Airport & Check into hotel, visit to the Shankaracharya temple (Shiva temple) which
commands one of the magnificent views of the Srinagar City and the lakes. Also Sightseeing of Mughal Gardens
visiting NishatBagh (Abode of Pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632AD. And
Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated
on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said
gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet – weaving factory. Also witness walnut
woodcarving and papier machine making demonstration. In Evening Shikara Ride and then overnight stay in a
Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 02: SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR (104KM)
After Breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts above Sea Level. The distance of 52kms will be
covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the
world with 18 holes. 0ne can also have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from
Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in
about 3 hrs. Late night drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel
Day 03: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM SIGHTSEEING
After Breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 95kms will be covered in about 3
hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King
Awantiverma) and Mattan (Holly fish Shiva Temple) see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice
fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to hotel. Later have bridle walks and feed your
cameras with the picture of magnificent views of mountains. Pahalgam visiting Chandanwari (snow bridges) or
Aru on ponies (at your own cost). Overnight Stay at Pahalgam.
Day 04: PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR
After breakfast, go back to Srinagar for experiencing Shikara Ride.
Day 05: SRINAGAR AIRPORT DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from hotel and you will be transferred to Srinagar airport on time to board flight
